Unidentified commemorative medallion, 1837; made of silver; the obverse is decorated with a roped border and a laurel wreath encircling the date; the reverse bears the inscription, ‘PREUVE D’APPLICATION’; hallmarked 1836, with a silver ring fitting. From a medal group of two awarded to Col R C Germon, 13th Regiment of Bengal Native Infantry.
