Pay book of Pte John Hurd, 19th Lancers, containing details of his pay account between February- November 1817 and his clothing account for September 1816 and December 1817. Pte Hurd joined the 19th Lancers in 1805 after service in the 76th and 73rd Foot. The useable pages are prefaced with a duplicate set completed in the name of Thomas Atkins as a guide to the use of the book.
