Non commissioned officers, ‘A’ Company, 2nd Volunteer Battalion, The Buffs (East Kent Regiment), 1905 (c)

Mounted photograph by F Bailey, Canterbury, 1905

‘A’ Company had its headquarters in Cranbrook. This photograph is probably taken outside of their drill hall. On transfer to the Territorial Force in 1908 the battalion became the 5th (Weald of Kent) Battalion, The Buffs (East Kent Regiment). The names of the men are listed.

From the collection of the former Buffs Regimental Museum.
