Tunic, full dress, lieutenant, 15th Depot Battalion (India Depots) Chatham, worn by Capt Thomas Lee, 1869 (c). Scarlet with blue facings. Collar upright, rounded at front. Upper and front edges trimmed with 5/8 inch wide gold vandyke pattern lace edged above with white cloth piping. Lower edge trimmed with gold Russia braid. On each front a Lieutenant's embroidered badge of rank (a crown).
