Goblet-shaped cup, 1870-1872. Silver by R and S Garrard, London, hallmarked London 1871-1872. Heavily embossed, stemmed cup. Gilt inside. Stands on a raised foot, the border has embossed floral scrolls. The central knop on the stem is similarly engraved and is cracked where a joint has given way, gilt inside. A deep band of embossed floral sprays encircles the middle of the bowl. Relating to Lt Col Frederick R Mein CB. Associated with the 94th Regiment of Foot.
