Description
The Duke of Monmouth exchanging Cloaths [sic] with a Shepherd to conceal himself after his defeat at the battle of Sedgeley-moor. Etching by Sparrow after Benezach, published by W and J Stratford, 14 Jan 1792. The Duke, in the centre, is helped into a coat by a man to the left, while a cloaked figure to the right looks on.
