Description
One of two sandwich boxes; with a side handle, 1920s. Made of nickel plated ferrous metal, possibly silver plated inside. Made by Drew and Sons, Piccadilly Circus. Part of a picnic set associated with Lady Jessie Peirse. The set may have belonged to FM Sir Claude Auchinleck, Lady Peirse’s first husband, or to her second husband, Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Peirse. Lining paper to interior.
