Two mess buttons, 1916 (c). In silver, upon a brass background, the roman numerals, 'XI' above a scroll bearing the title, 'Rajputs'. The whole surmounted by a monarchial crown. One button bears a split-ring fastener. The reverse bears the manufacturer's name, 'Ranken & Co. Calcutta'. From a collection of 16 buttons and two collar badges associated with Lt Col Richard Henry Stevens, 11th Rajputs.
