Silver by Hamilton and Company, Calcutta, hallmarked Elephant, Roman 'A' Tally Mark, 1857 (c), Cylindrical, ovoid section container, finely decorated with animal and foliate patterns, Lid is slightly domed and secured with a hinge and press-stud. The body also contains an eagle, a stag, a tiger, a hawk and a stork. Inscribed, 'R G TAYLOR/ to/ J W Younghusband/ in Memory of/ Septr. 1857'. Relating to Maj R G Taylor and J W Younghusband.
