Raising the Wind by Royal Authority His Maj intends to diminishing the extravagant expence of the Military Officers Dresses[sic], 1830. Lithograph by C Motte after R Seymour. Published by Thomas McLean, London, 12 July 1830. The lithograph refers to one of the first orders of King William IV, on his accession to the throne, which was to make changes to the uniform of the Foot Guards.
