Rectangular, gilt metal.
Superimposed upon an eight-pointed white metal, rayed star, a gilt metal oak leaf wreath, bearing at base, a gilt metal scroll bearing foliate sprays.
Within the wreath a gilt metal garter bearing the batttle honour, 'Seringapatam' and within the garter the gilt metal Roman numeral, 'XI' on a white metal ground.
The whole surmounted by a gilt monarchical crown.
Leather lining, hook and stud fittings.
