Description
Officer's shoulder belt plate, Northumberland Militia, 1815 (c) Rectangular silver plate hallmarked, 'London 1813', with rounded corners bearing the following incised design: above a representation of Alnwick Castle the concave motto, 'Libertas Et Natale Solum'. On reverse a hook at upper edge and two studs at lower edge. Manufacturer's mark 'I J W J' (not traced).
