Description
Officer's shoulder belt plate, 1st Somersetshire Militia, 1800 (c). Within a beaded border a silver eight-pointed rayed faceted star upon the centre of which a garter bearing the pierced silver motto. Within the garter is a silver crown the whole upon a frosted gilt silver crown he whole upon a frosted gilt ground.
