Pattern 1822 Infantry Officer’s sword, Royal Welsh Fusiliers, 1825 (c); blade engraved with the maker’s name, Prosser, the cypher of George IV, and is exceptionally long at 36.5 in; ‘Gothic’ guard inset with Prince of Wales’ feathers; fish skin covered grip, bound with metal wire.
