Officer's red full dress tunic, 6th Bengal European Regiment, 1858 (c)-1861. 
Buff pink facings, upright rounded collar edged with gold braid. 
Collar and rank badges of crown and star for captain. 
Single red cord shoulder strap fastened by a small gilt button with crown device.  Sleeves with slashed flap at cuff with three regimental buttons. 
Tunic fastens centre front, originally by eight regimental buttons; six tail buttons, five are regimental, one is of the 12th Bengal Native Infantry. With original quilted lining.
