Field Marshal's martingale and boss, Army Staff, 1920 (c). Brown leather breastplate, with brown leather and brass noseband and buckling piece. Design on martingale boss of a laurel wreath enclosing the royal cypher ‘GRV’ below which crossed batons, the whole surmounted by a monarchial crown. Made by CSL Army and Navy.
