Gorget, silver, unhallmarked, Berkshire Militia, 1775 (c). The following engraved design: at centre, the Royal Arms as used 1714-1801, with supporters and motto but lacking the crest. Above the crown, to the dexter, the letter, 'G', and to the sinister, the letter 'R'. Upon each of the horns is a trophy of arms superimposed upon a ribbon with a bow at the top, from it suspended a laurel wreath. Within the dexter wreath, the title, 'BERKS', and within the sinister wreath, the title, 'REG.T'
