Side drum, 1st Battalion The Buffs (East Kent Regiment), 1914 (c). Manufactured by George Potter and Co., Aldershot. Military side drum with an emblazoned and silver-plated brass shell with wooden counterhoops, rope-tensioned with British style white leather braces. The base colour for the drum is a buff colour to match the facing colour of the Regiment. From the collection of the former Buffs Regimental Museum.
