Officer's shoulder belt plate, Royal Cheshire Militia, 1850 (c).
Rectangular silver plated brass plate bearing the following mounted design.
Within crossed silver sprays of laurel and acorn and oakleaves, a frosted gilt metal garter bearing the title, 'Royal Cheshire'.
Within the garter a silver Prince of Wales's plume, coronet and motto upon a blue enamelled ground.
Above the garter is a gilt monarchial crown.
On reverse a hook in each upper corner and a stud in each lower corner with brown leather lining.
