Frock, 2nd Lieutenants’, Edinburgh Academy Officer Training Corps, 1938. Blue serge. Collar upright, cut square in front. On each shoulder a strap of blue serge lined with blue flannel and fastened with a white metal regimental button. On each strap a 2nd Lieutenant's metal rank badge (a star) below which is the white metal letter 'T'. On each front a pleated patch pocket with three-pointed flap fastened with a white metal regimental button and two blackened metal press fasteners. Five white metal buttons down centre fornt, bearing the following regimental design: within a laurel wreath the entwined letters 'EA'. Three of the front buttons bear the manufacturer's name: STEPHEN SIMPSON PRESTON. Corresponding buttonholes. Five white metal studs at upper edge collar lining.
