Description
Officer's shoulder belt plate, Nottinghamshire Militia, 1845 (c). Upon a silver plated copper plate a silver, eight-pointed multi-rayed faceted star, upon the centre of which a gilt Garter. Within the Garter is a silver cross upon a frosted silver ground. Above the Garter is a gilt monarchial crown and below the Garter a frosted scroll with beaded border and acanthus leaf ends bearing the regimental title.
