Description
Officers’ shoulder belt plate, Royal Dublin City Militia (Queen's Own Royal Regiment), 1845 (c). Die struck. Mounted upon a silver plate, a gilt shamrock wreath within which a frosted silver garter with roped border. Within the garter a silver female harp upon a domed gilt ground. Below all a frosted gilt scroll with roped edges. Above all is a gilt monarchial crown. Reverse bears a hook in each upper corner and a stud in each lower corner.
