Description
Kard with scabbard, nd. Straight, single edged blade, worn through sharpening. Copper of bronze moulded hilt, with settings for gems forming floral designs. Ground is punched. Most of the gems are missing, though some green, red and white ones remain. Hilt appears to have originally been gilt. Ferrule is of darker metal. Associated with Officers Mess, 2nd Bn Royal Dublin Fusiliers.
