Glengarry badge, officers, South Durham Fusiliers Militia, 1874 (c)-1881. A silver coloured metal fused grenade fitted with flush back of similar metal, the ball mounted with a floreated ‘3’ (county precedence number), a silver and blue flush enamelled Garter Proper the inner St George’s cross decorated with thirteen inlaid red glass ‘stones’, a floreated scroll below inscribed ‘The Durham Fusiliers’, original pin back, the pin missing.
