Description
Jacket, Wiltshire Yeomanry, 1805 (c) -1810 (c). Blue wool short coat with scarlet wool facings, three rows of gold braid and half dome buttons gilt (?) buttons. The cut-away coatee was replaced by the more fashionable short jacket, a plain anglicised version of the frogged Hussar jacket.
