Presented by W H Fenton, 1932 (c). Blade manufactured by Hounsloe, London, 1750 (c)-1780 (c). Fullered blade, double-edged towards the point, 1750 (c). Iron, half basket hilt, with double shell-guard and side bars, lion’s head pommel and shagreen-covered grip bound with copper wire. Black leather scabbard with iron mouthpiece and chape.
