Description
Frock, kersey, other ranks, 2nd Volunteer Battalion, Cheshire Regiment, worn by Pte J Rutter, 1890 (c). Scarlet wool kerseymere with white facings, made by Samuel Brothers ltd, 1890 (c) With three efficiency stars in white worsted. a star was earned for each five years a volunteer was returned as ‘efficient’, indicating here at least 15 years service.
