Description
Coatee, full dress, officers’, West Kent Light Infantry Militia, 1853-1855. Scarlet wool cloth with French grey wool cloth facings and pewter buttons by 2s. Silver lace. Bugle skirt ornaments. Appears to have been fitted for epaulettes therefore field officers’ coatee. Pattern post 1848.
