Tunic, drummers’, full dress, 2nd Royal Cheshire Militia, 1871. Red with blue facings. Red, white and blue worsted lace to collar, wings, shoulder straps, inner arm and cuffs. Fastens with eight white metal buttons and hook and eye at collar. Three white metal buttons to cuffs, one on each shoulder strap. On back, red white and blue fringe at centre middle waist between two buttons. Vent flaps at rear with white piping and two buttons on each flap.
