Description
Enfield Mk I pattern 1914 .303 in bolt action magazine rifle, 1916 This is a duplicate sealed pattern with a parchment label attached by red tape - behind the label is a black felt label. The label gives the designation of the rifle and notice of approval and is signed P.E. Vaughan for Chief Inspector of Small Arms. The wax seal has disappeared. Associated with World War One (1914-1918).
