Sweetheart brooch showing the badge of the Hertfordshire Regiment, originally owned by Sgt L W Lock, 1st Hertfordshire Bty, 4th East Anglian Bde, Royal Field Artillery, 1914 (c). Yellow metal and enamel, maker unknown; possibly converted from a cap-badge; circlet inscribed ‘THE HERTFORDSHIRE REGIMENT’ surmounted by an Imperial crown; in the centre a hart.
