This sealed pattern governed the manufacture of caps for a number of different regiments. These included the Light Infantry Brigade, 304 (Essex Yeomanry) Field Regiment RA (TA), Middlesex Yeomanry Signal Regiment, Royal Signals 40th Signal Regiment (Middlesex Yeomanry).
