Description
Officer's waistbelt clasp, Cambridge Militia, 1855-1881. Silvered brass, belt fittings of foliate design. Mounted upon the central frosted circular plate, the Royal Cypher, 'VR', surmounted by a monarchial crown. Surrounding the plate a frosted circlet with burnished rims bearing the burnished title, 'Cambridge/ Militia'.
