Belt fittings of foliate design.
Mounted upon the central frosted circular plate, the Royal Cypher, 'VR', surmounted by a monarchial crown.
Surrounding the plate a frosted circlet bearing the burnished title, 'West Suffolk/ Militia'.
On the right hand (male) arm of the clasp concealed by the circlet is the impressed numeral, '2'.
A similar numeral is impressed on the upper section of the female side of the clasp within the circlet concealed by the central plate.
