An eight-pointed rayed star, the uppermost point of which is displaced by a monarchial crown.
Upon the star a laurel wreath within which is a frosted circlet with burnished edges bearing the burnished title, 'The Welsh 2nd Glamorgan R.V.C.'
Within the circlet a Prince of Wales's Plume, Coronet and Motto below which is a scroll bearing the title, 'Gwell Angau Neu Ghwilydd'.
The reverse bears three copper loops, one behind crown and one on either side of centre.
