Officer's waistbelt clasp, 1st Somerset (Light Infantry) Militia, 1875 (c)-1881.

Silvered brass belt fittings of foliate design.
Mounted upon the coarsely frosted white metal circular central plate, a gilt metal stringed bugle horn.
Surrounding the plate upon the female part, upon a frosted gilt circlet between burnished white metal border in burnished white metal letters, the title, 'First Somerset Regt', and twin sprays of laurel.
Upon the stem of the male part and upon the upper segment of the centre of the female part is stamped the numeral, '2'.
