Shoulder belt plate, officer’s, Trinity House Artillery Volunteers, London, 1803-1804. Oval gilt copper plate bearing the following incised design: superimposed upon a trophy of an anchor, arms and banners, an oval cartouche bearing a ship in full sail upon the sea. Below the trophy, a gun, below which is the convex title, 'Artillery', above all, the concave title, 'Trinity House'. On reverse is a hook at upper edge and two studs at lower edge.
