Description
Lapel badge worn by Sgt Arthur A Leather, Leeds Volunteer Reserve, 1914-1918. Cast, oval. Within a blue enamel border bearing the gilding metal title, 'Leeds Volunteer Reserve/ 1914' in gilding metal a pair of crossed rifles upon a frosted ground. The reverse bears a flat crescent shaped stud fitting, below which is the raised maker's name, 'Fattorini/ Bradford'.
