Regimental football medal awarded to Pte F J Woolf, 3/24th Bn London Regiment (The Queen's), 1915-1916. Made by silversmith Fattorini and Sons, Bradford, 1915. Made of silver and gilt metal and silver and gold coloured. In silver, upon an engraved wreath surmounted by a coronet, a circlet bearing the engraved regimental and battalion title in the centre of which, in gilt metal the paschal lamb facing dexter upon a frosted scroll bearing the burnished title, 'The Queen's'. On reverse: in the centre the engraved inscription, 'Football Season 1915-16 F.J. Woolf'. At the top the stamp maker's name and address. On lower reverse is the hallmark and maker's mark. The medal bears an integral silver ring suspender through which passes a loose ring.
