Eleven documents relating to Pte William Cooper, 2nd Bn South Lancashire Regiment (1904-1912) and 3rd Bn Coldstream Guards (1914-1919) contained in a leather writing case which he won in 1907 in a Rifle Competition. The documents chiefly concern Cooper’s pension and World War One service, including details of his ‘Turn of Active Service’ on the Western Front, 1915-1917.
