Manuscript transcription of a description of an interview between Napoleon and the British Ambassador to France, Lord Charles Whitworth, at the Tuileries Palace, Paris, which took place on 13 Mar 1803; original written 14 Mar 1803, this transcript dated, London, 27 Sept 1808. 3 pages. This stormy public encounter was a notable event in the deterioration of relations between Britain and France which resulted in the breakdown of the Peace of Amiens.
