Seventy-four letters written by Lt Col Hubert Kendal Percy-Smith to his mother, 8 Oct 1917 - 25 Aug 1919. From a collection of personal papers of Lt Col Hubert Kendal Percy-Smith, 1917-1958. Associated with World War One, India (1914-1918) and World War One,Salonika (1914-1918). Percy-Smith arrived in India in December 1917 and served at the 40th Pathan’s Depot at Fategarh, and Rawalpindi until April 1919, when he left to join the Army of the Black Sea based near Scutari. There he was attached to 25th Punjabis. The last letter was written from Italy on his way to England on leave.
