Manuscript extracts of a letter from Lt Donald Archibald Dugald McVean, att 21st Punjabis, to his family in Scotland, dated Malakand 17 Nov 1897. Besides mentioning an attack on the enemy, he also describes a game of polo and the results of a fishing expedition. Associated with the India, North West Frontier, Malakand Field Force (1897-1898).
