Description
Fruit stand, Royal Irish Regiment, 1862-1871. Porcelain, made by Mintons 1862-1871 (c), stamped verso with retailer’s mark for Daniell, London. Bearing a device of a lion upon a shield within a crowned garter inscribed ‘Virtutis Namurcensis Praemium’. Central rose pattern of geometric swirls with eight points (in gold but very worn).
