Description
Manuscript certificate giving the highest prices realised for food and tobacco at Joe Dyson’s public auctions at Ladysmith during the siege, 21 Feb 1900. It was given by Dyson to Farrier Maj Mackenzie who claimed to be the first of the relief force to enter Ladysmith. Associated with the Siege of Ladysmith, Boer War (1899-1902) 1899-1900.
