Similar in style to a flag presented by General Browning to Lt Col P H M Cann who was commanding officer of the Indian Airborne Forces Depot at Rawalpindi. According to Lt Col Cann (file 41 (628), General Browning presented a personal flag to all commanding officers. It is just possible that this flag is the personal flag of the commanding officer of the 1st Punjab Regiment.
