Papers: Copy of a Statement made by the Cage Marshall of Pen 10, 379 POW Camp on 8 May 1945. The first page is a statement made by the Cage Marshall, presumably the most senior German prisoner of war in the camp, saying that they reject the Nazi government and will obey the orders of the Allied authorities, at the end of the war. The remaining four pages are a copy of the Commandant’s speech to the camp, in which he tells them how the war ended. The location of Camp 379 is unknown.
