Electroplated nickel silver match case relating to the service of Cpl Albert Joseph Lilliman, 3/1st London Regiment (Royal Fusiliers), 1914-1918. Maker’s mark on the inside rim of the main body of the case, ‘T&S’, 1910 (c). Rectangular with engraved decoration on both sides and a ring to allow the case to be attached to a belt or chains, ridged groove at bottom of case to strike matches.
