Six commissions to George Tito Brice 1803-1871 and four commissions to George Hooton Hyde 1817-1843. Capt George Tito Brice (1803-1871), 3rd (or Prince of Wales’s) Dragoon Guards, was wounded by a cannon ball at the Battle of Talavera in 1809, during the Peninsular War (1808-1814). He was captured and served as a prisoner of war in France until the end of the war (1810-1814, at Verdun).
