Cocked hat, Unidentified, 1855 (c). Black and brown beaver with gold lace edging. Gold bullion loop around gilt button. Black silk ribbon embroidered with oak leaves and acorns. Gold bullion tassels at each end. Buff leather sweatband and silk or satin lining.
